In  2011 the new school will be opened. Our student population will increase to a nine forms of entry with 600 sixth form students and the school population will total 1950.  Thomas Tallis School is a specialist Arts College, a Leading Edge school and a national school of creativity.

The school is currently in the process of improving employer engagement and extending the students' experience of Work Related Learning. We successfully accredit all our year 10 and 11 students with each of the 9 Work Related Learning elements. We achieve this through 10 subject areas providing case study and employability related activities. In addition, we provide students with the opportunity to participate in a range of community projects. There is a thriving Wellbeing faculty, which excels in both nurturing students and adding value to their formal curriculum.

Thomas Tallis School has been awarded the Intermediate International School, UNESCO Associated Schools and the Get Set Network Awards.  This is in recognition of the work completed to date in promoting global awareness and the ambitious plans we have for further developing this aspect of the wider curriculum.

Thomas Tallis School joined two London Schools in partnership with three Oklahoma City schools to present their ideas and experiences at Creative Frontiers-
